Japanese style Sashimi - 5 stars
Because the owner is Korean, I expected Korean style sashimi. My guess was wrong. They served Japanese style sashimi. It was really soft and melting in my mouth.
Live Shirimp and Shrimp Head Tempura - 10 stars if possible.
The shirimp sashimi was really sweet and Tempura was crispy. Whay can I say more about it.
My party ordered 3 rolls, and 2 were 4 stars. And 1 was outstanding, which was not in the paper menu and it was written on the board at the side of bar. It was served with sesame leaf tempura. That roll was 5 star.
( I did not take a picture. I was busy eating this roll. lol)
The sparkling sake - Try a bottle. You will order 10 more, if you are not driving. -

I thought this place was decent. I ordered the popcorn lobster roll and my mom ordered the seafood udon.
The broth in the seafood udon was pretty flavorful, and the noodles were the perfect texture. The spicy tuna in the popcorn lobster roll was pretty fresh, but the rest of the dish was just okay. There was way too much sweet sauce drizzled on top that overpowered the flavor of the roll and tempura lobster toppings.
Also, when the dish first came out it was made with California rolls (a different menu item). I asked them about it and they apologized and remade it for me; however, the roll the second time around was sloppily made (rice was crumbly, there wasn't a piece of avocado in every sushi piece, etc.). I didn't want to say anything because by that time my mom was already almost done with her food.
Overall, this sushi place was good but not the best. -

I came to Fusion Sushi for lunch this past Thursday for lunch since it was my coworker's birthday. My team has been here multiple times in the past, but it was personally my first visit. Having heard them hype it up these past few weeks, I had high expectations.
I ordered a three item lunch combo consisting of choices of salmon teriyaki, four pieces of spicy tuna cut roll, and four pieces of crunch roll. It also came with a miso soup and salad. The portion of the salmon teriyaki itself was really small and not worth the money to order by itself, in my opinion. I was disappointed in its value because usually lunch special portions of meals have been at least 3/4 the size, if not the same size, of dinner portions for other restaurants I've been to (Thai, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) during the lunch hour.
The sushi itself was four stars. I could immediately tell the restaurant was Korean-owned and not Japanese because of the purple rice they used. That and the staff was predominantly Korean, haha. Crazy how most Japanese restaurants these days aren't actually Japanese, but if the sushi is good, I'm not complaining. The quality of the fish seemed fresh. I've only ever had purple Korean rice with barbecue in the past, so the switch-up with the sushi rice was a nice twist.
The food here may have above average pricing and smaller portions, but the quality is decent for the items I've tried. During my next visit, I'll likely just opt for ordering just hand rolls or specialty cut rolls. -

Ordered the baked lobster roll, was okay. Like that they gave a lot of lobster compared to other places and had purple rice for their rolls which is different but overall was okay. It was about $13.95 for a roll which is typical
Would come back for happy hour that is Monday - Thursday 7:30- closing to try the other rolls and drinks.

Within a plaza, plenty of tables. Was able to accommodate for 11 people.

Drowned in sauce and hit and miss service. Your stomach will ache for days after consuming their sauce. Tastes nice until the next days. This has happened time and time again.
